Power Anywhere: Mobile Battery Trailers for Events, Emergencies and Remote Work
Not every place that needs power has a power point. Community events, evacuation centres, remote works and pop-up operations all share the same problem: reliable electricity, away from the grid, without a diesel generator dominating the space with noise and fumes.
A mobile battery trailer answers that. Ezyplugs, a Gold Coast-based brand, makes a “big battery on wheels”: 120 to 200 kWh of usable LFP storage and two 22 kW outputs on a road-legal trailer that is registered, braked and lit. You can tow it wherever it is needed and fill it from solar.
Events and activations
Markets, festivals and outdoor activations want power that is silent and clean, not a generator thumping behind the main stage. A battery trailer runs quietly in the middle of a crowd, powers vendors and EV or phone charging, and can be branded and used as a mobile marketing platform in its own right.
Emergency management and community resilience
When the grid goes down after a flood, fire or storm, mobile stored power becomes critical infrastructure. A towable battery can energise an evacuation centre, a communications post or a relief hub, then move to the next site as the response evolves. For councils and agencies planning for resilience, a movable asset that is useful every other day of the year — and ready when it matters most — is easier to justify than equipment that only earns its keep in a crisis.
Remote and off-grid work
Survey teams, film shoots, agricultural sites and remote infrastructure jobs all need dependable power beyond the reach of the network. Paired with solar, a battery trailer can run for extended periods without fuel deliveries, keeping tools, equipment and site facilities running quietly.
One asset, many jobs
The strength of a mobile battery trailer is versatility. The same Ezyplugs unit that charges a fleet on Monday can power an event on Saturday and sit ready for emergency callout in between: a single asset with no emissions in use that keeps paying its way. Pricing starts from $149,500 inc GST.
