The Amphibious Luxury Catamaran Is Coming
Today we’re thrilled to announce the Cat Cruiser, an amphibious luxury catamaran designed and built in Australia and currently in build. This has been a journey of passion, engineering, and an unwavering belief that boating should be accessible to more Australians, more often. Register your interest to hear about delivery timing.
What Makes It Different
Think of the Cat Cruiser as a caravan you can take on the water. Tow it behind your vehicle on its road trailer, launch at any standard public boat ramp, cruise all day, then retrieve at the ramp and drive home. No marina berth required, and no complicated setup: just a boat that is genuinely easy to own, store at home, and take wherever the water takes you.
"Amphibious" describes the Cat Cruiser's dual water-and-land lifestyle: a proper boat on the water by day, and a comfortable cabin for camping ashore by night, all from a trailerable vessel you launch yourself at the ramp. It is not a self-driving or road-registered vehicle, and it does not launch itself without a trailer and a ramp.
Models at Launch
Cat Cruisers will launch with the 650 and 750 models, with the 870 following. Every model is built from fibreglass and powered by twin inboard electric motors (the primary propulsion system, not a backup), giving around six hours of quiet, efficient cruising on a single charge. Each model pairs a premium marine-grade interior with genuine shallow-draft capability, so you can explore estuaries, sandbars, and anchorages that bigger boats simply cannot reach.
Pricing is not published at this stage. If you would like a quote for the 650, 750, or 870, our team is ready to talk you through specifications and enquire for pricing directly.
